Description
Summer days are here and the barley’s sweetly waving while the wild mountain water tumbles down the Bardon burn all to conjure Mannochmore.
The woodpecker flits into shafts of clear sunlight, red feathers glowing bright in the dark wood close by our Mannochmore.
Let’s wait all the while through the long times of slumber to be blessed with the riches that we’ll share as the lovers of deep gold Mannochmore.
Limited Release of 3954 bottles.
This limited cask strength release was matured in a unique selection of Ex-Bourbon first-fill and new first-fill American Oak Barrels, and New European Oak Butts.
Unusually rich in character, it has a mellow, deep note full of hints of fruit and gorse flowers. Softly smooth, hot and sweet, the taste becomes delightfully fragrant, with a firm, warming finish. Enjoyable straight, its many colours are best revealed with with a little water.
Mannochmore lies among rolling hills criss-crossed by streams. One, the bardon burn, runs down Mannoch hill to the distillery. The great spotted woodpecker is found in nearby Millbuies Wood.
