Inspired by the legend of an 1818 order of a unique blend of rare cognacs for Tsar Alexander I of Russia, Hennessy’s Master Blender Yann Fillioux has created Paradis Impérial in 2011.
Paradis Impérial’s subtle elegance can be seen in its light amber color and soft celadon reflections. The incomparable brightness and light hue of Paradis Impérial are due to its remarkable composition. Only the most exceptional eaux-de-vie with the finest texture have been selected; many years of aging have ensured the complexity and balance that can only be achieved through lengthy maturation.
The nose reveals itself with the freshness of the first flowers of summer, as the most subtle perfumes waft through the air with a faultless finesse: spring essences, jasmine and orange flower swirl in a bouquet of remarkable intensity. The floral notes return on the palate, unremittingly, continually revealing new tones of expression.
This cognac of great stature is characterised by a great finesse. Comprised of eaux-de-vie aged between 30 and 130 years old, one must enjoy Paradis Impérial slowly, in order to fully appreciate the finesse of every single drop.
Designer Stéphanie Balini created a faceted shape for the Paradis Impérial decanter. The decanter is crowned with a crystal cabochon, whose 18-carat gold-plated label recalls the costumes of the imperial court.
Comes in an outstanding display case – one of the finest we’ve ever seen.
