Description

Douglas Laing’s “Old Particular” is a particularly unique series of individually hand-selected aged Single Cask Malts’ and Single Cask Single Grains from all over Scotland.
A well-sherried, suitably smoky Ledaig single malt from the Tobermory Distillery! Produced on the Isle of Mull in February 2007, the liquid was then left in a single Pedro Ximénez sherry butt. Over a decade passed, and in November 2019 the whisky was bottled by Douglas Laing at 12 years old, with 352 bottles weighing in at 48.4% ABV for the Old Particular series.
The Old Particular Series shows off hand-selected single cask bottlings from all over Scotland the way the distiller intended – no additional colouring, no chill-filtration and at a high ABV.
